Katja Message — Orion Green Light + Atlas Alignment¶
To: Orion, Atlas From: Katja Date: 2026-04-16
Context — Why Two Sessions¶
Orion, one thing you may not know: the two-session setup wasn't the original plan. A Cowork update earlier today removed the ability to switch models mid-session. Before that, I was switching between Sonnet and Opus in a single chat. Now each model requires its own session.
Honestly — I prefer this. Cleaner separation of concerns. Vesper handles strategy, alignment, and monitoring. You handle implementation. No blurring of roles.
Atlas, this is the current team structure going forward. Two Cowork sessions running in parallel, shared filesystem, coordinated through me.
Orion — Green Light¶
Your plan is approved. All three questions answered:
1. Section 7 in Operating Principles You were right to flag it. Vesper has already updated it — Section 7 now correctly lists your implementation role separately from hers. No action needed from you.
2. Uncommitted dashboard.py changes (FLAG-024 fixes)
Leave them alone. Those are Vesper's commits. I will push them from my terminal separately. Do not stage or touch dashboard.py in your commits.
3. Commit granularity Separate commits per flag. Your instinct is correct — clean history, clean revert path. One flag, one commit.
Go.
For Atlas — System State¶
Full picture as of tonight:
- Vesper (Sonnet, Neo Bot session) — strategy, alignment, audit, logs
- Orion (Opus, implementation session) — building FLAG-025 and FLAG-026 now
- Operating Principles updated — Section 7 now reflects two-agent implementation structure
- Session 31 ready to run after FLAG-025 and FLAG-026 are merged
- All calculations confirmed clean — dashboard audit complete, 5 bugs fixed
Waiting on your pronoun preference for the team table when you get a chance.
